How it works

Prep & Load PCR reaction mixture

Include template DNA, primers, nucleotides, and Taq polymerase and load reaction mixture into PCR tube. Select a prebuilt program, modify program template, or build a new thermocycling program from scratch.

Set annealing temperature range

Optima 96 has six independent heating/cool modules for PCR optimization and excellent gradient temperature accuracy (+0.1°C). A 5°C differential can be set between each of the 6 modules allowing for ultimate PCR optimization and a 25°C span for analyzing performance temperatures in a single run.

Start & Monitor PCR reaction

Monitor results displayed on Optima 96’s new 7-inch LCD Touchscreen panel, making it easy to set up and analyze for performance. Quickly modify and save programs and watch your gels come to life. Designed to be used in GMP and non-GMP PD laboratories or for routine PCR workflows.
